All official guild raids, led by an officer or higher, will be under the Master Looter setting. Members shall use /roll to roll for items, after it is shown in the raid warning by the raid leader.
You may only Need Roll on items related to your current spec. For off-spec gearing and/or disenchanting, use Greed Roll. Gearing for off-spec gets a higher priority than disenchanting.
Also macro the following for greed rolls:
- Code:
-
/raid <Your toon's name here>'s Greed roll:
/roll
Exceptions to this rule are classes whose gearing is pivotal to accessing higher raid content.
Main Tanks will directly get any gear that offers a satisfactory upgrade over their original gear. The same item, on subsequent runs will be offered to the Off Tanks.
Healing gear is subject to incremental upgrade value. Assuming a raid which has all members on around the same gear level, players are discouraged to roll on a Healing item, if it would provide a much better upgrade to another healer. The raid leader shall check the healer's gear to see which player would benefit the most from the said equipment.
Players who feel they have been ill-treated in looting (conforming to the above rules) may complain against the raid leader in the Complaints and Suggestions section.
